New Data on Mexico’s Fintech Ecosystem
Finnovista released its annual report on the state of Mexican FinTech. According to their survey, 650 FinTechs are currently active in Mexico, with a mortality rate of 9% - down from 11% in 2021. Since the organization conducted its first survey in 2016, the industry has 5Xed. 60% of last year’s growth came from lending, enterprise technologies for financial institutions and payments and remittances.
