YoCripto launches a credit card with rewards in bitcoin
YoCripto launched the first credit card in Mexico that offers up to 3% in cashback in bitcoin that can be used to pay the card’s balance or held to appreciate value over time. In a launch event, the founders highlighted that rewards in bitcoin could be more attractive than traditional point-based cards as points tend to lose value over time. YoCripto will offer credit lines from 2,000 to 80,000 pesos and already has a waiting list of 35,000 people.

Xepelin founders say Mexico is now their largest market
Xepelin, which provides financial services to businesses, said that Mexico has surpassed the country’s home market Chile to become its principal market, reporting that the company had more than doubled its income, margins, and clients. In 2023, Xepelin will continue to focus on the Mexican market, although the FinTech is not without competition with Jeeves, Tribal and Clara operating in this space.
