Mexican startups Plerk and Minu announce merger
Employee benefits startup Plerk merged with on-demand pay provider Minu to strengthen its offering. Minu will integrate Plerk’s digital prepaid employee benefits card into its services to offer a total of three primary employee benefits: on-demand pay, prepaid benefit cards, and savings and loan cooperative for its members. The merger comes after Spanish competitor Cobee announced it would expand to Mexico in January.
