Ualá finally receives regulatory approval to purchase bank
The Argentine digital wallet Ualá, finally received regulatory approval to purchase ABC Capital, allowing it to move forward with its plans to move into the more traditional banking sector and offer interest-bearing deposits and integrate credit offerings. The FinTech recently announced in October 2022 that it would invest more than $150 million over 18 months to propel its digital banking business in Mexico and Colombia.
