Puntored acquires GestoPago in Mexico

One of Colombia’s largest and longest-serving FinTechs, Puntored acquired Mexican startup GestoPago, marking its entry into the Mexican market. Puntored is a FinTech service and payments processing platform, focusing on providing alternative payment options to its network of clients to increase financial inclusion. The company decided to enter the Mexican market due to its large yet-to-be-banked population. According to Puntored’s CEO, GestoPago’s offering is complementary to its existing products.
