MARKETS 

The FTSE-BIVA index closed on August 17 at 1,096.58 down from its August 10 close at 1,111.31.

The MXN/USD exchange rate closed at 17.11 pesos to the dollar on August 17 down slightly from its close of 17.13 pesos on August 10.

The Mexican 10-year bond (2031) closed on Thursday with a yield of 9.288%, up from a yield of 9.057% on August 10.

The FTSE-BIVA Top Stock Gainers for the week were: OHLA (+4.94%), VESTA (+4.51%) and BAN BAJIO (+3.45%) and the Biggest Losers were: VOLARIS (-11.55%), HERDEZ (-9.52%) and MEGACABLE HOLDINGS (-6.15%).
